Rhapsodies of an island Trip .................Part 2!!!!

The Journey to ' The Island looked smooth on the onset both fellows were high spirited discussing joyfully and sharing opinions wholeheartedly, with no knowledge of what the future had planned for them, this explained why God publicly proclaimed in his testaments ' My people suffer for lack of knowledge'. The rain was still coming down hard and the vehicle slowed down, traffic moved slowly along the highway that led to the island. This coursed the path to other discussions and extended their pending adventure. The vehicle got through the road and the driver fell in love with the freeway and kept covering distance faster than expected, what had been a jolly ride turned out to be a pointless journey cos the cab driver suddenly brought it to the awareness of the talk lost fellows that he didn't have an entirely correct knowledge of the route to the island....this brought concern to the couple and this served as the Genesis to the Exodus of the island trip.
The fellows decided to stop to ask for directions which they got. They breathed a sigh of relief and got back on their trip this time on the right course and more cautiously monitoring the drivers movement so he doesn't fall in love a second time.
On getting to the edge of 'the island' the couple were met with a surprise as they hoped they would have received a more welcoming entrance into the island. Little did they know that this was just the beginning. as a result of the rain the lane leading to d island and been clogged with a certain content and this content posed itself as a challenge to the smooth and less stressful entrance into the island.
The cab went ahead swerving left to right avoiding ditches and roughly coursing its way through the clogged content.Further approaching the island the vehicle came to an abrupt stop and this shook up the passengers of the vehicle. The driver came down looking confident and in control. and he took care of the situation. On getting close to one of the fellows drop off point the fellow came to realize dat the rain had somehow found its way into the vehicle and helped itself to one of dems fancy/ colorful skirt, this fellow perceived this as an embarrassing situation. the fellow alighted the vehicle at drop off point and agreed with the other counterpart on meeting point. As desperation will always take its course this fellow found a way to make the skirt situation look less embarrassing. The second fellow went ahead to drop off point 2 and came down from d vehicle parting with the cab driver and reassuring him of an early return. Both fellows successfully met their appointments and completed their tasks. they got back together and got back on the road back to whence they came.
The fellows expected that the most crucial part of their journey had been completed little did they know that they were yet to be surprised once again. After successfully exiting the island and getting to the link road to the highway the fellows were surprised at the level to which the clogging had taken over the road and this shook them up all over again. The prayer at their lips was 'God see us through oh! omo i can't push the car oh! ' eventually their fears materialized and the car came to a full stop........................
The driver tried but to no avail in getting the vehicle to start without having to take the option of coming down and fixing the challenge. eventually he summed up adequate courage and came of d vehicle wadding through the clogged road straight to the front of the car and attempted to take control of the situation. This attempt was futile as the car still didn't work and this increased the fear of the driver's passengers. Simultaneously the roads contents began to find its way through the doors of the vehicle and gradually the vehicle's interior began to take the shape of the exteriors condition. At some point one of the fellows probably disillusioned by the days events imagined a fish on the floor boards of the vehicle. This pleasant yet funny illusion didn't last for long as d car suddenly revved up with life. This brought a glint of hope but this time the fellows were not bought over completely they had learned their lesson. They based their hopes on the yet to come and struggled to keep their little hope from drifting into false hopes. Eventually they came out successfully from the clogged road and got on the free road and eventually with smiling faces got off the cab paid their fares while bidding the cab driver goodbye.......they walked back too their office going over their days experience............

MORAL LESSON: ALWAYS EXPECT THE WORST SO AS TO PLAN FOR THE BEST; IF YOU DON'T FIX IT U FIND YOURSELF IN A FIX; WHEN YOU THINK AHEAD YOU BUILD A HEAD.
